Solve the board in constraint order—hardest door first, flexible space protected, moving obstacles anticipated, and Multilayer blocks peeled only when the new layer has a route.
Before the timer or motion becomes the problem, identify the board's irreversible move. Look at every colored door, then trace which block can reach it and what lane must remain open. A block with one plausible route deserves attention before a block with several exits.
Use this five-pass scan
- Map doors first. Mark the door boxed in by walls, other blocks, or moving machinery. That route is usually more fragile than an open edge.
- Choose a buffer lane. Keep one area available for temporary parking. Filling every open cell with correctly colored blocks can still make the remaining board impossible to route.
- Read dynamic elements. The official listing names moving elevators and block generators. Ask where an elevator will connect and where a generated block will occupy space before committing the current piece.
- Sequence Multilayer blocks. Version 840 says the outer layers peel away one at a time. Do not remove a layer merely because it is available; first make sure the newly exposed block has a matching route and does not consume the buffer.
- Execute the constrained route. Once the fragile path is protected, clear blocks that release the most space and leave flexible pieces until later.
If the board keeps failing
Classify the failure instead of repeating the same opening. A trapped color means the route order was wrong. A crowded board means the buffer disappeared too early. A surprise generated block means you did not reserve its arrival space. A timeout after a correct plan means execution speed—not the plan—needs work.
Boosters can rescue a run, but the official description does not define fixed booster effects or costs for every version. Use the live label in version 840 rather than assuming an older guide is still accurate. The release notes also mention new levels and continuing interface changes, so a numbered level may differ after an update.
Run a board audit before retrying
Take one pause after a failed board and reconstruct the last useful state. Write down which door was still blocked, which color occupied the buffer, and which moving element changed the route. Then choose the earliest move that caused that state. This is more reliable than changing the final move, because the trap may have been created several actions earlier.
For a generated block, reserve both its arrival cell and the next lane it will need. For an elevator, check the two states separately: where a block can enter now and where it can exit after movement. For a Multilayer block, treat each revealed layer as a new routing problem. If the next color cannot reach its door, clearing the current layer early has reduced options rather than created progress.
When two openings look plausible, test the one that clears less flexible space first. A reversible parking move preserves information; a move that sends a block through its door is permanent. Commit permanent moves only after confirming they do not remove the lane needed by another color.
What this guide can and cannot solve
This process is designed for changing level sets because it uses visible constraints instead of a recorded move list. It cannot guarantee that every timed level is beatable with the same speed, and it does not claim a specific booster will exist in every rollout. If your board does not show Multilayer blocks or uses different obstacles, follow the current on-screen tutorial and apply the same door-space audit to the elements that are actually present.
