VHOLUME Multiplayer Guide — Learn Routes with Ghosts

Record a stable solo line first, use ghosts to isolate one faster segment, and enter multiplayer with a route you can recover when bumped off pace.

Learn one recoverable VHOLUME route before following the fastest ghost you can find. A ghost can reveal a shortcut, but it cannot tell you whether your current movement control is consistent enough to use it. First establish a solo line that reaches the finish without depending on a perfect landing.

Route comparison loop

1. Run the level solo and name the movement chain in each segment: run, jump, climb, slide, and recovery.
2. Preserve momentum only where the landing remains visible. A slower recovery is better than restarting an unexplored section.
3. Enable or observe a player ghost and find the first segment where it gains meaningful distance.
4. Copy only that segment. Determine whether the gain comes from a shortcut, a cleaner landing, or carrying more momentum.
5. Once the segment is repeatable, connect it to your original line and compare the full target time.
6. Join friends after you know the recovery points. Multiplayer can expose alternate routes, but it also adds motion that makes an unfamiliar layout harder to read.

The official description confirms that players can experience every level together, see and share ghosts, discover shortcuts, and chase target times. Steam also lists Workshop and leaderboards. It does not yet establish which demo records, Workshop items, or route timings will persist after the August 21 launch.
