For a Sovereign Tower quest, match the problem to the Knight before you chase personality or rarity. The published Round Table system exposes five qualities—Strength, Agility, Charisma, Magic, and Wit. Read the wording of the assignment, identify the quality it most clearly tests, then compare the available Knights on that axis.

A repeatable assignment check

1. Read the full request and name its main obstacle in one phrase: force, speed, persuasion, sorcery, or reasoning.
2. Map that obstacle to the closest visible stat. Do not manufacture a second requirement unless the quest text signals one.
3. Compare the Knights who are actually available. A strong match today is more useful than saving every capable Knight for an imagined future task.
4. Check whether an annex, crafted item, faction consequence, or Treasury cost changes the decision.
5. After the result, record the assigned Knight and the consequence. If you rewind, change one meaningful input so the second route produces new evidence.
