Night Ore recharges Night Shade. A charged Night Shade gives Calvin a one-time revive when he suffers a fatal blow; after it activates, it can be recharged again.
This is a survival reserve, not a Talent Point, Dream Essence, weapon-upgrade material, or ammunition component. If Night Ore is in the inventory and the expected Talent option is missing, the item is being checked in the wrong system.
Treat the revive as one use per charge. Once Night Shade prevents a fatal result, assume that protection is spent until the interface confirms another recharge. The official support answer does not publish a universal Night Ore farming route or fixed cost table, so this page does not guess one.
