What the campaign loop actually is

During Organization phases, choose tasks and strengthen allied troops. During Attack phases, invade connected nations for resources and personnel. Tactical battles take place on a hex grid. The official material emphasizes elemental advantage, leader pressure, and the choice between forcing a retreat or defeating units directly.

Story Mode is more authored and restricted: six nation stories respond to the revived Abyssloa Empire. Mission Mode broadens the selectable map to 24 nations and changes victory conditions. It is not simply “the same campaign with another character.”
