Story Mode and Mission Mode both use one-player campaigns; 24 selectable Mission nations do not mean 24-player or competitive play.
Brigandine Abyss is a single-player game. The current Steam page lists Single-player, and Nintendo lists one player on one system. There is no confirmed online co-op, local co-op, PvP, hot-seat mode, or crossplay.
Current player-format table
| Feature | Status |
|---|---|
| Single-player | Yes |
| Online co-op | No official support listed |
| Local co-op | No official support listed |
| PvP | No official support listed |
| Hot-seat | No official support listed |
| Crossplay | No |
Mission Mode's 24 nations are selectable campaigns controlled by one player. They are not 24 online slots. Story Mode's six nations are also separate single-player stories.
Steam Cloud and Nintendo Save Data Cloud are save features, not multiplayer. Nintendo Switch Online appears on the product page because Save Data Cloud is listed; it does not prove online matches.
For the campaign difference, use Story Mode versus Mission Mode. Return to the Brigandine Abyss hub for release, hardware, and reviews.
