WHAT CHANGED

Separate the playable prologue and two-episode Early Access package from planned endings, subquests, languages, enemies, and later content.

A dream-world area in Vapor World Early Access

Vapor World Early Access includes the prologue plus two episodes, with the developer estimating about five hours of play. It reaches through all of the first episode, Consequence of The Choice, and into the beginning of the second, The Reproachful Office. The ending is planned for the full release and is not hidden inside the current package.

Confirmed current scope

Steam's Early Access disclosure lists the core combat and exploration experience, the prologue, and two episodes. The official description confirms Deflect, Crack Break, Ember extraction, stealth, records, workbench tools, Projections, traversal, and boss encounters as current systems. It does not publish a complete live-build item list or every episode checkpoint.

The approximately five-hour length is the developer's estimate. Difficulty, exploration, repeated boss attempts, and reading can change an individual run. Do not use it as a refund guarantee or a promise that every player will see five hours of unique story content.

Planned for 1.0

The store says the full version is planned to include a third episode and ending, plus additional subquests, hidden stories, enemies, and languages. Another section describes a planned full length of roughly 12 hours. Those are development intentions, not delivered features. The disclosure does not promise a firm release date and says predicting completion is difficult.

The developer also says the price is expected to rise at 1.0 because the full version should contain more playtime. Confirm the current store price and content before purchasing; do not buy only on an assumed future discount or deadline.

What changed immediately after launch

The launch announcement promised a first content update and a more detailed roadmap. Before that content arrived, the studio shipped urgent fixes: patch 0.5.4 removed AI-generated cutscenes and restored original in-game versions, while 0.5.4f10 improved movement and fixed title-screen and save-reset errors. These stability changes affect the current experience even though they do not add an episode.

The developer said a larger roadmap would follow. Until the promised roadmap is published in an official post, this page will not invent dates or name unannounced bosses. Check the announcement archive for a newer roadmap before relying on this snapshot.
