GAME INTRODUCTION
What to know before you play
Star Wars Zero Company is a single-player, turn-based tactics game scheduled for August 27, 2026 on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Because the game has not released at this check, this hub covers only facts supported by EA, Lucasfilm, and the official store—not a fictional beginner guide assembled from trailers.
Choose the current answer
- Check release date and platforms before buying for a specific device.
- Compare Standard vs Deluxe and preorder items without treating cosmetics as gameplay content.
- Read the direct single-player and multiplayer answer before planning co-op.
- Compare your machine with the official PC requirements.
What the official material actually establishes
You play as Hawks, a former Republic officer commanding Zero Company during the Clone Wars. EA describes a single-player campaign in which the squad takes missions across the galaxy, returns to a headquarters called the Den, and develops relationships that unlock combat synergies. The roster combines authored Star Wars characters with operatives the player can customize.
That is enough to define the game: tactical missions, a campaign layer, squad composition, character bonds, and a Star Wars story. It is not enough to publish a “best class,” a flawless mission route, or an ending guide. Those require the released build and direct evidence.
Buying boundary before launch
Steam lists the Standard Edition at $49.99 in the United States. Deluxe content is cosmetic: a Grand Army pack, Shadow Collective pack, and five painted weapon themes. Preordering either edition adds a Crystalline Astromech cosmetic pack. None of those descriptions establishes stronger units, early access, or a gameplay advantage.
The PC target is demanding for a tactics game: even minimum lists 16 GB RAM and a GTX 1080-class GPU, while recommended lists 32 GB and an RTX 3080-class GPU. Use the dedicated table rather than assuming a modern name guarantees 60 fps.
What changes after August 27
After release, this hub should be rechecked against the live build, official patch notes, and direct play evidence. Only then should mission walkthroughs, squad builds, difficulty advice, or performance fixes be published. A launch-day review also needs an actual testing method and hours—not a rewritten product description.
