PlayStation's free companion app is the current mobile tool for Face Scan, Marketplace orders, Diamond Dynasty squad management, programs, collections, and live updates.

The app complements the console game. It does not provide MLB The Show 26 matches on a phone, and it should not be confused with the separate MLB The Show Mobile Baseball game.
Current phone requirements and update state
The US App Store lists the app as designed for iPhone and requiring iOS 16 or later. At the August 26 check, Apple showed version 6.7.7. Google Play lists an Android version and shows an August 4, 2026 update. Store requirements can change, so use the live listing for your device before installing.
The Google suggestions “not working,” “down,” and “fetching data” show that players also want outage help. The store listings do not establish the cause of an individual login or data-fetching error, so this page does not invent a cache-clearing fix or claim that the service is currently down. Check for an app update first, then use the support link attached to the official store listing if the current version still cannot load your account.
