GAME INTRODUCTION
What to know before you play
Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is SUNBORN's squad-based strategy RPG, with the player acting as the Commander of Tactical Dolls in contamination zones. Battles revolve around choosing a squad, using each Doll's role and abilities, and moving through tactical encounters. The game is available on Windows, iOS, and Android.

What the game asks you to manage
The Commander builds squads from Dolls with different roles and combat tools, then uses positioning and abilities to clear tactical encounters. Character recruitment and development sit alongside event stories, challenge modes, and changing combat systems. Banners, events, and mode dates can expire, so check the current dates before spending currency or changing Platoons.
Players who want turn-based squad decisions, character collection, and regularly changing events are the clearest fit. Doll strength can change with patches, investment, teammates, and the rules of a particular encounter.
Current update: Chiral Redundancy
Chiral Redundancy was installed on August 26, 2026. Part 1 adds event story and stages, OTs-14, a MOD path for Nemesis: Gnosis, Frontier Conquest, Assault Simulation, Resonance, upgraded Phase and Ammo Weakness systems, and Tile Transformation.

Current update distinctions
OTs-14 and Nemesis: Gnosis arrive together, but they are not obtained the same way. OTs-14 and her Elite weapon, Capitoline, receive increased rates in Targeted Procurement and Military Upgrade. Nemesis: Gnosis comes from upgrading the Standard version of Nemesis with a MOD item earned through Gnostic Insight; her Neural Image and Sibyl weapon use separate exchange routes.
Frontier Conquest also has two dates worth separating. Sunborn lists the mode as available from September 3 at 5:00 a.m. UTC-4, while the wider Gunsmoke Frontline and Frontier Conquest rollout runs from August 30 through September 19. During that period, the notice warns that Commanders cannot leave their current Platoon.
Resonance uses the most advantageous phase-damage formula but excludes physical damage. Phase Enhancement raises matching phase damage, Phase Resistance reduces it, and Tile Transformation creates stronger or new tiles when phase tiles overlap. Those rules alone do not identify the strongest team for every stage.
