Vapor World System Requirements and Controller Support — PC and Xbox

Compare the official minimum PC specification and verified input capabilities without turning an outdated Windows line into a support promise.

Steam lists a 3.0 GHz Intel or AMD processor, 8 GB RAM, GTX 1050 Ti, DirectX 11, broadband internet, and 10 GB storage as the minimum. It also lists full controller support, recommends a gamepad, and identifies DualShock, DualSense, and keyboard-only options. No official recommended PC tier is published.

There is an important storefront boundary: Steam's product requirements still name Windows 7, but the Steam Client itself ended support for older Windows versions and requires a current supported environment. For a Steam purchase, treat Windows 10 or newer as the practical baseline unless the developer updates the field. This page does not promise that launching an old standalone executable on Windows 7 will work.

Input support

Steam marks the game with full controller support and “Gamepad Recommended.” The feature data includes keyboard-only play and PlayStation controller support, including DualSense. Xbox lists console keyboard and mouse, while normal Xbox controllers are inherent to the console product.

Test one device at a time if the title screen does not respond. Disconnect duplicate gamepads and temporarily remove external remappers before concluding that the game is blocked. Patch 0.5.4f10 changed movement feel and fixed a title-screen progression bug, so update first.

Performance expectations

The minimum field proves the developer's entry specification, not a guaranteed frame rate or resolution. Xbox lists 60 fps+ capability and Series X|S optimization, but that label does not promise identical performance in every scene or on Xbox One. The Steam page does not publish a recommended GPU, CPU, target resolution, or Deck compatibility rating.

If your PC is near the minimum, begin with the current build, close heavy background applications, and test combat as well as exploration during the storefront refund window. Record resolution, graphics settings, area, and patch when reporting poor performance.

For a stuck launch, follow movement and title-screen fix. For store and cloud differences, open Xbox Game Pass and platforms.
