Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Save Transfer and Bonuses

Separate demo continuation from first-chapter clear-data recognition, then verify the correct account, platform, and save before troubleshooting.

Two different checks happen at launch: the full game can continue your 2nd Chapter demo progress, while compatible first-chapter clear data unlocks Classic Style SC costumes. One can work even if the other does not. Diagnose them separately before deleting or replacing any save.

Safe transfer order

1. Do not delete the demo or first-chapter save. Preserve the local data and any platform cloud copy before troubleshooting.
2. Use the same platform account that created the save. A different PSN, Nintendo, or Steam account may not expose that account's local or cloud data.
3. Install and launch the full game on the matching platform path. On PS5 and Steam, current launch reporting describes loading the demo save from the full game's load flow. On Switch, use the displayed transfer flow.
4. Check the continued save before overwriting anything. Confirm play time and story position.
5. Check the first-chapter bonus separately. The official reward is the Classic Style SC costume set; it is not proof that the demo continuation also succeeded.

If the demo save does not appear

• Confirm the demo and full game belong to the same regional store and user account.
• Fully close and reopen the game after the full installation completes.
• On a new console, let the platform finish downloading cloud saves before opening the load screen.
• Check that the demo save still appears in platform storage. Do not create a replacement save with the same expectation that it will recover the old one.
• If the save exists but the full game never presents it, stop and contact the publisher or platform support with the platform, account region, and visible save timestamp. Never send account credentials.

If the first-chapter costume is missing

First confirm that you have clear data, not merely an in-progress first-chapter save. Then confirm it is visible to the same user and platform path as the sequel. The official sources promise the reward but do not document cross-platform recognition, so do not expect a Steam clear save to unlock a PlayStation or Nintendo bonus.

The costume reward does not alter the campaign, carry levels forward, or convert a Switch purchase into the Switch 2 edition.

Before changing platforms

No checked official source establishes cross-platform progression among Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo. Cloud-save support inside a platform ecosystem is not the same as cross-platform transfer. Keep separate backups and assume each platform family is independent until the publisher documents otherwise.
