AT A GLANCE

The official Nagash roster scope without pre-release tier-list claims.

Nagash can recruit across the Vampire Counts, Vampire Coast, and Tomb Kings rosters. Lords of the End Times also gives him new Lords, Heroes, units, and three Regiments of Renown tied to his undead army.

What the combined roster means

Nagash's settlements can be adapted to recruit different undead families. Coastal settlements can become Pirate Coves; inland settlements can become Burial Chambers or Mausoleums. Necropolises provide advanced recruitment and unit-capacity growth, while Gravecall can raise units immediately in their province.

The official overview describes the army as flexible because it can mix the trilogy's main undead rosters. That is a confirmed access statement, not proof that every cross-roster combination will be equally efficient.

New unit roles

Creative Assembly describes Morghast Archai as armored anti-large flyers and Morghast Harbingers as anti-infantry flyers. Spirit Hosts are high-entity Ethereal units intended to pin armored targets. The Khemric Titan is a heavily armored colossal construct with scarab effects and an explosive ranged ability. The Coven Throne combines scouting, support effects, and anti-infantry chariot pressure.

Those labels help identify intended jobs, but a pre-release tier list would overstate the evidence. Final costs, campaign availability, multiplayer balance, and practical matchups need the September 24 build.

Characters outside the core list

Krell is also identified as a Mortarch Legendary Hero in Nagash's campaign system, while the Nameless is a follower rather than a battlefield roster entry. Keep that distinction when comparing lists: not every named campaign asset is recruited through the same unit interface.

The progression systems behind this roster are explained on the Necropolis, Black Pyramid, Mortarchs, and Books page.
