The First Descendant Onslaught: Location, Stages, and Status

WHAT CHANGED

Where to enter Onslaught, how Stages 1 through 4 unlock, what weapon ranges they offer, and what happened during the August restriction.

Open Onslaught from its icon on the right side of the World Map or from the Tactical Transport Control Device in Albion. The activity is now named Onslaught, and its current reward table contains four stages.

Stage unlocks

• Stage 1: requires Mastery Rank 18.
• Stage 2: complete Stage 1 once.
• Stage 3: complete Stage 2 once.
• Stage 4: complete Stage 3 once.

Stage progression and weapon rewards

The 7.11% figure is the listed chance to acquire a Transcendent Weapon from the activity; it is not a mission-completion chance. Update 1.4.0 revised the published quality ranges, so older reward tables can be stale.

Rotational Build

Onslaught supports a developer-configured Rotational Build in relevant rotations. The system provides an optimized set rather than using all of the player's own equipment. Read the reward panel carefully: Rotational Build can have its own reward table and may not award ordinary proficiency/EXP in the same way as a personal build.

August availability incident

Nexon identified abnormal behavior that allowed repeated Transcendent Weapon acquisition and temporarily restricted access. The official sequence says:

• abnormal acquisition was identified;
• access was restricted while the issue was reviewed;
• bans were issued for severe abuse;
• unfair gains and related items were targeted for recovery;
• Stages 2 through 4 remained available while Stage 1 was restricted;
• Stage 1 became available again on August 27 after the fix.

Because this is an operational state, check the latest official notice if the entry button is disabled. Do not use a cached exploit video as a troubleshooting guide.

If Onslaught does not appear or Stage 2 is locked

1. Update and reconnect.
2. Use the right-side World Map icon or Albion's Tactical Transport Control Device.
3. Check Mastery Rank 18 for Stage 1, then follow the one-clear-per-stage unlock chain.
4. Confirm that no newer maintenance or restriction notice is active.
5. For Public Operations, check the current Arche Activity requirement shown in the UI.
