Raven's research materials come from Legion Laboratory and Sigma Sector: Isolated Desert on High-risk Difficulty. The same two activities can drop her Amorphous Material Pattern, Complex Filament Seeds, and exclusive modules.

Those figures compare the published reward tables, not clear speed. A faster run with a particular group can change the practical result per hour, and Nexon's notes do not provide timed averages.

The table below answers a planning question the official reward list does not calculate: the chance of seeing at least one Raven pattern after repeated clears, assuming each completion is an independent roll at the published rate. It is not a guarantee, pity-system claim, or measured farm-speed result.

The calculation is 1 - (1 - drop rate)^runs. Even a 97.2% result still allows a dry streak, and receiving the amorphous pattern still does not guarantee the particular component blueprint you need. Track pattern drops and blueprint outcomes separately.
Efficient choice without inventing a “best farm”
Use Legion Laboratory when you want the higher published mission-completion rate and its larger stated seed package. Use Isolated Desert when its other rewards, rotation, or existing objectives give your account more value. A fastest-per-hour verdict would require measured clear times, loading, team composition, and current drop observations; the patch note alone does not prove it.
Module distinction
Nightfall changes Raven Feather into Raven's Claw and supports a summoned-claw setup. Law of the Back Alley centers on Edict effects and broadens firearm use. Patch 1.4.1 fixed several Nightfall/Raven's Claw issues and capped the number of Raven's Claws at 10. Patch 1.4.2 then changed Nightfall again: Raven's Claw holding distance increased from 50 m to 65 m, Shadow Step restores two Raven's Claw stacks, Raven's Claw is no longer removed when Raven enters DBNO, and Veil of Night's damage-negation count changed from seven to three. Reconnect before comparing current behavior with older footage. Neither patch publishes replacement acquisition rates for the two farms.
Update 1.4.3 later increased Law of the Back Alley's Edict scaling and stopped Shadow Shot from targeting objects. It still did not publish replacement Raven research or module drop rates, so the acquisition table above remains the current official table rather than an inferred reroll.
