The First Descendant Axion Plains Requirements — Parts 1 and 2

Use the two official Axion Plains gates to identify whether Fortress, Mastery Rank 15, or Sigma Sector story progress is missing.

Axion Plains Part 1 opens after the Fortress zone main quest. Part 2 requires both Mastery Rank 15 and completion of the Sigma Sector main quest. Those are the two official Axion gates; Sigma Sector High-risk is a different activity and is not required merely because its name appears near the same progression path.

Use the locked quest's exact name before replaying content. If it says Axion Plains, follow the two checks below rather than troubleshooting Sigma High-risk.

Axion Plains itself is a Hard-only battlefield with seven missions in Update 1.3.0. Progress its main quest rather than looking for a lower-difficulty copy of the zone.

If Axion Plains is still missing

1. Read the locked activity's exact name and tooltip.
2. For Axion Part 1, confirm the Fortress zone main quest is complete.
3. For Axion Part 2, confirm both Mastery Rank 15 and the Sigma Sector main quest.
4. Confirm you are viewing Hard difficulty because Update 1.3.0 defines Axion Plains as Hard-only.
5. Return to the main-quest list and look for the Axion reconnaissance quest rather than a Normal-difficulty world-map copy.

If every requirement is complete and the reconnaissance quest still does not appear, take screenshots of the completed Fortress quest, Mastery Rank, completed Sigma Sector main quest, Hard-difficulty map, and missing quest list. Add platform, region, current game version, character, and the last completed main quest when contacting Nexon Support. The first three screenshots prove the official gates; the remaining context is our recommended diagnostic packet so support can distinguish progression state from a display or account problem.

Do not confuse Sigma High-risk with the Axion prerequisite

The Axion notes say Sigma Sector main quest. Nexon's separate Sigma support article says Sigma High-risk requires Mastery Rank 15 and Isolated Desert missions on Normal. That distinction prevents an unnecessary High-risk grind: for Axion Part 2, verify the Sigma main quest named in the Axion notes. This page does not claim to solve every Sigma or Season 4 activity unlock.
