The Modern Warfare 4 beta contains a selected multiplayer rotation, not every launch map or mode. Activision's beta briefing lists the scheduled content, while the beta patch notes track changes made after the servers opened.
The official rotation includes conventional team modes and newer playlists across the maps named in the beta briefing. Availability can differ between the early-access and open weekends, and Activision can enable, remove, or tune a playlist while the beta is live. If a mode shown in a trailer is absent from the menu, check the current weekend schedule and patch notes before treating it as a bug.
Three boundaries matter:
- A map shown in the beta is confirmed for that beta weekend, but its final layout or spawn logic can still change.
- A mode named for weekend two may not be selectable during weekend one.
- Beta weapon, perk, streak, and movement balance is explicitly patch-sensitive and should not be presented as a permanent launch meta.
For that reason, this page does not publish “best route” or “best loadout” advice from a few beta matches. Those answers belong after the retail release, when the version is known and the result holds across repeated matches.
