Check your PC before buying
On Windows, open Settings → System → About to check installed RAM and processor. For the graphics card, open Task Manager → Performance → GPU or run dxdiag. Compare the model and VRAM to the same column above; do not assume that a newer laptop name means it has the required dedicated-GPU memory.
The Steam storefront currently lists single-player, Steam Cloud, achievements, and save-anytime support. It does not list macOS, Linux, or official controller support. That is different from saying the game cannot ever work through compatibility tools; it means Player Guidebook cannot promise support that the developer has not listed.
If your machine falls between the minimum and recommended GPU, use the minimum configuration as the honest buying threshold. Resolution, graphics presets, laptop power limits, and background applications can change actual frame rate, and Steam does not publish a guaranteed FPS target for these specifications.
