Halloween: The Game is out digitally on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store. The September 4 Deluxe early-access period has ended, the worldwide digital launch happened September 8, and Patch 1.0.2 is the latest official update checked September 17. Physical PS5 and Xbox Series X editions follow on October 6.

Patch 1.0.2: what changed after launch

Patch 1.0.1 was the Day One Patch. Patch 1.0.2 followed on September 11 with another set of practical changes:

• crash and stability fixes shipped across all platforms;
• tracking fixes were listed for Purist, Close Quarters, No Friend Left Behind, Natural Observer, and Stalker;
• Prestige Challenges were reenabled, and an active Prestige Challenge should no longer block matchmaking;
• controller redemption, XP, perk, trait, vehicle, Michael, and rain-visual issues received named fixes;
• Grab Escape Item spawns were reduced as a balance change.

These are official patch notes, not a claim that every launch issue is resolved. The developer says some Prestige Challenge objectives remain unclear even though the challenges are completable. If a problem persists, include the platform and build when reporting it; clips from Early Access or Patch 1.0.1 can describe an older state.

September 8 US unlock times

The official launch post is the source for the 9 AM Pacific unlock. It is more precise than storefront countdown estimates or media conversion tables. That time has passed; preorder bonuses tied to the launch cutoff should not be described as currently available.
