North Horn uses Enlightenment silver obols and Enlightenment gold obols. Silver primarily comes from critical encounters and FATEs; gold primarily comes from enemies in the field.

North Horn obols are separate from South Horn currencies. The current total is visible in the Occult Crescent interface.
Gear rules
North Horn gear carries enhancements that function only inside Occult Crescent areas. It can be upgraded through three tiers with North Horn materials. Existing South Horn gear can be exchanged for North Horn gear at a comparable tier, preventing the earlier progression from becoming a dead end.
