GAME INTRODUCTION
What to know before you play
BOMBANANA released September 2, 2026 on Steam as a paid online co-op puzzle game for exactly three players. The team is one blind monkey, one mute monkey, and one deaf monkey. Each person receives only part of the information needed to disarm a bomb before time runs out.
Pick the exact answer
- Release date, price, Steam, demo, and platform status
- Why exactly three players are required and what each role can do
- Windows and macOS requirements, RAM, graphics, and storage
The information split
The blind monkey can touch the bomb but cannot see colors or read displays. The mute monkey can read the disposal manual but cannot simply speak its instructions. The deaf monkey can see the bomb and teammates but cannot hear them. The puzzle is therefore not just finding a rule; it is moving the right observation from one role to the next through the channels the game leaves available.
Steam lists pointing, waving, gestures, voice chat, multiple bomb modules, and a level system that unlocks harder stages. It also states there is no single imposed communication method.
The current Steam requirements list 300 MB of available space for Windows and 600 MB for macOS. Those platform-specific figures replace the earlier 2 GB listing.
Price and launch context
Steam currently lists a US $7.99 base price. As checked on September 4, 2026, an introductory offer discounted that to $4.95 (−38%) with the sale marked to end September 9. Recheck the live store button for regional price and any later promotions.
Lefto Studio's August 19 notice set the demo removal for August 20 at 16:00 UTC while the studio prepared the full game. Lefto Studio develops BOMBANANA and TARK publishes it. The former demo puzzles do not establish the retail module set, exact solutions, or final performance on their own.
