A direct map of the full-release additions that make older guides incomplete.
Big Ambitions 1.0 is more than the removal of an Early Access label. It adds a seventh neighborhood, new services and staff, and changes financial decisions that older guides may describe incorrectly.
Major additions
| Area | 1.0 change | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Map | The Hamptons, including residential property and a small retail strip | New homes and business locations alter expansion choices |
| Transport | A private driver contracted through Onyx Luxury Chauffeurs | A summonable ride reduces manual travel once the contract is set up |
| Food | Speedy Bites home/business delivery and player delivery work | Adds convenience and another small-job activity |
| Banking | No negative interest; revised loans and investments | Old finance advice may use outdated costs or actions |
| Taxes | Rebalanced deductions, partial payments, late fee, Econoview estimate | Cash reserves must account for a visible annual liability |
| Staffing | HQ Pricing Manager | Centralizes neighborhood pricing and can suggest prices at higher skill |
| Leisure | Brick Breaker, golf driving range, and tennis | Adds time-passing activities beyond skipping time |
How the private driver works
The published flow is: choose a vehicle, contract Onyx Luxury Chauffeurs, and leave that vehicle in the company's garage. The announcement says the driver can then be summoned. It does not say that the service replaces delivery drivers or moves warehouse stock; those are separate logistics roles.
Banking and tax changes worth rechecking
- Loans require more income, use higher interest and minimum daily payments, but can have a larger maximum and accept partial payments.
- Investments support daily automatic contributions, show more growth detail, and allow partial withdrawal without closing the full investment.
- Late taxes carry a 10% fee, while partial tax payments are supported.
- Econoview shows current tax debt and an estimate for the next year.
An older “borrow the maximum immediately” or “close the entire fund to withdraw” instruction may therefore be stale.
What the Pricing Manager does—and does not prove
The new HQ employee can update prices across an entire neighborhood. Higher skill can produce daily price suggestions. That is a workflow tool, not proof that every suggested price is globally optimal. Demand, competition, customer satisfaction, and balance still matter; record the date if you publish measured pricing tests.
Other freshness checks
Version 0.11 had already introduced official mod support and adjusted weaker gyms and offices, including new Travel Agency and Event Planning Agency types. A guide written before those updates can be accurate about the basic interface but wrong about business viability, blueprint compatibility, or product availability.
