FAST ANSWER

The direct repair route and what to do when the vehicle cannot be driven.

Drive an ordinary damaged car into the repair area at a gas station, or call the tow service while seated in the vehicle if it cannot be driven safely.

Repair route

  1. Open the map and filter for a gas station/repair location.
  2. Drive the car into the marked repair bay.
  3. Use the repair prompt and review the current cost.
  4. Confirm the repair.

If the car is disabled, sit in it and open Contacts, then call the tow service. A developer reply gives those two routes directly: gas-station repair shop or tow truck.

Common location confusion

  • A vehicle dealership sells vehicles; it is not automatically the repair point.
  • The truck garage and ordinary-car repair route may be different.
  • A building that appears “closed” outside business hours may not offer every service.
  • The map filter is more reliable than driving to a remembered Early Access location.

Before paying for a tow

If the vehicle still moves, compare the tow quote with the risk of additional collision damage on the way to the shop. Repair and tow charges can vary with the current build and vehicle condition, so use the amount shown in your save.

If no prompt appears

Confirm that the whole vehicle is inside the marked bay, that you are at the correct repair location for that vehicle class, and that the game is not paused. Leave and re-enter the bay once. If the current unmodded build still gives no prompt, capture the vehicle type and location and submit an F2 report.
