Aniimo supports solo play, online co-op, online PvP, and cross-platform multiplayer. The PlayStation Store lists up to four online players; Egg Heist is a separate three-player-team PvPvE mode. Do not apply one activity's number to every online system.

Egg Heist is its own activity

Official Xbox copy describes Egg Heist as a real-time PvPvE activity in the Lost Isles. Players join a team of three for searches and battles. That establishes the team shape for Egg Heist; it does not prove a three-player cap for open-world co-op, Homeland visits, or every future mode.

Likewise, PlayStation's “4 online players” label establishes platform support for four-player online activity, but it does not document host progression, guest quest completion, loot ownership, or which story steps can advance together.

Before inviting players on another platform

  1. Confirm everyone is using a supported platform and the intended server.
  2. Separate crossplay from cross-progression. Playing together does not merge characters or server data.
  3. On a new console account, complete the first-login Aniimo Pass link before creating fresh progress.
  4. Use the activity's own party limit rather than assuming the store maximum applies everywhere.
  5. If a quest or reward does not advance for a guest, treat that as an activity-specific boundary until an official rule confirms otherwise.

For the high-risk account step, use the cross-progression and server guide.

What remains unverified

The checked official sources do not provide a complete matrix of story quest sharing, host-only progression, guest rewards, matchmaking fill, cross-region parties, or Homeland capacity. Community reports may describe individual builds, but they cannot establish a universal rule without reproducible current evidence.

QUICK ANSWERS

Questions players ask next

Does Aniimo have crossplay?

Yes. Steam lists cross-platform multiplayer alongside online co-op and online PvP.

How many players can play Aniimo together?

The PlayStation Store lists up to four online players. The separately described Egg Heist mode uses a three-player team, so the cap depends on the activity.

Does crossplay mean progress shares automatically?

No. Progress sharing requires the intended accounts and the same Aniimo server; crossplay alone does not merge accounts or server data.
