Before the first console login, match the existing character's server and link the intended Aniimo Pass; skipping the popup creates a separate account that cannot later link to that existing game account.
To continue an existing Aniimo character on console, match that character's server to the console account first, then link the existing Aniimo Pass in the first-login popup. Do not skip the popup. The official FAQ says skipping it creates a new Aniimo Pass for the platform account, which can no longer link to the existing game account.
The safe linking sequence
- On the current device, confirm the existing character's Aniimo Pass and server: America, Europe, or APAC.
- For PS5, verify that the PSN account's registered country maps to the same server. A US PSN account maps to Aniimo-America.
- Start Aniimo on a PSN or Microsoft account that has never logged into Aniimo.
- In the first-login popup, choose the existing-account path and enter the intended Aniimo Pass email.
- Confirm the familiar character and server before claiming mail, spending currency, or creating new progress.
- If the expected character is absent, stop. Do not create another character in an attempt to force a merge.

You are moving between PC storefronts
Steam prompts for an Aniimo Pass link. The official FAQ says Steam users who skip that step can link later through the in-game Email Link page. That later-link route is documented for Steam; do not assume it overrides the stricter first-login console rule.
You are adding PS5
PS5 automatically assigns the Aniimo server from the PSN account's registered region. The official mapping places the United States, Canada, Mexico, and listed Central and South American countries on Aniimo-America. A character on Europe or APAC does not transfer into America merely because the same email is used.
If the PSN region and character server do not match, stop before linking. Aniimo currently provides no cross-server progress transfer.
You are adding Xbox
Use a Microsoft account that has not previously logged into Aniimo, then link the existing Aniimo Pass in the first popup. Xbox Play Anywhere describes the Microsoft ecosystem route; it does not replace the Aniimo Pass or same-server requirement.
You are preparing for mobile
The official launch notice says PC and mobile share data. Use the same Aniimo account and server on September 23. Do not create a second mobile identity merely because the expected character does not appear; first confirm the login and server.
What shares—and what does not
| Item | Current rule |
|---|---|
| Character progress | Shared across linked platforms within one server |
| Different-server characters | Independent; no cross-server progress sharing |
| PS5 server | Assigned from the PSN account region |
| Console preorder items | Must first be claimed on the purchasing console |
| Claimed console items | Usable on linked platforms within the same server |
| Trophy/achievement progress | Shared after account linking within the same server |
| Wallet and store payment route | Remains tied to the storefront used for purchase |
If the wrong account was created
Stop spending and stop creating additional progress. Record the platform, platform account ID, Aniimo server, character name, and approximate first-login time. Contact official support and explain whether the first-link popup was skipped or completed with the wrong Aniimo Pass. Do not send a password, one-time code, QR login, or payment to anyone offering an unofficial merge.
The official wording does not promise that support can undo every skipped or incorrect link. Treat recovery as an escalation, not a guaranteed self-service unlink.

QUICK ANSWERS
Questions players ask next
Does Aniimo have cross-progression?
Yes. Progress is fully shared across linked platforms within the same Aniimo server. Different servers retain independent data.
What happens if I skip the console account-link popup?
The official FAQ says the console account creates a new Aniimo Pass and can no longer link to a game account that already uses an Aniimo Pass.
Which Aniimo server does a US PSN account use?
The official mapping assigns United States PSN accounts to Aniimo-America. PS5 does not support moving progress between Aniimo servers.
Can I claim a console pack on PC first?
No. Claim it on the console store platform where it was purchased. After linking, claimed items can be used on other platforms within the same server.
