Wuthering Waves System Requirements, Storage, and Steam Deck

Wuthering Waves currently requires 150 GB of available PC storage. Steam lists Windows 10 64-bit, 16 GB RAM, DirectX 12, and a GTX 1060, RX 570, or Intel Arc A380 as the minimum graphics tier.

Steam Deck status

Valve marks Wuthering Waves Playable, not Verified, in the Deck compatibility report checked August 30, 2026. The report says the default controller configuration is not fully functional, some interface text is difficult to read, and external controllers are not supported for the primary player. It also says the game shows Deck controller glyphs and that the default graphics configuration performs well.

Before installing

The 150 GB figure is available space, so a drive with exactly 150 GB free leaves no practical room for download staging, shader caches, screenshots, or later patches. Keep additional headroom and use an SSD if possible. A machine at the minimum tier may launch the game, but the listing does not promise a fixed frame rate; CPU age, cooling, background applications, and the selected resolution still matter.

If the installer reports insufficient space, compare the free capacity on the actual install drive rather than the computer's total capacity. On Deck, expect to adjust the controller layout if the default mapping does not expose every function; the official report does not prescribe a particular community layout.
