PlayStation lists Rainbow Six Tactics for PS5 in 2027, while Ubisoft still has no exact release day; Xbox Series X|S, three PC stores, GeForce NOW, and Blacknut are also confirmed.
Rainbow Six Tactics is coming to PS5 in 2027, but it does not have an exact release date. PlayStation published the 2027 window in its Gamescom roundup. Ubisoft's reveal and US store still do not name a month or day for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.
Confirmed platform and store list
| Platform or service | Official status on September 4, 2026 |
|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 | Announced for 2027; exact day unknown |
| Xbox Series X|S | Announced |
| PC — Ubisoft Store | Announced |
| PC — Steam | Announced |
| PC — Epic Games Store | Announced |
| GeForce NOW | Announced |
| Blacknut | Announced |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | Not announced |
| PS4 / Xbox One | Not announced |
The platform wording matters. Ubisoft names PS5, not PlayStation in general, and Xbox Series X|S, not Xbox One. On PC, Steam is one of three announced storefronts; the Ubisoft Store listing says a Ubisoft account and Ubisoft Connect are required for its PC version.
GeForce NOW and Blacknut are cloud services, not separate console versions. Their inclusion does not add Switch 2, mobile, macOS, or Linux to the platform list.
What remains unknown
PlayStation's 2027 label is a year window, not an exact date for every platform. Ubisoft has not provided a month, day, US unlock time, price, edition details, or preorder schedule in the checked sources. No Nintendo Switch 2 version is announced. “Not announced” leaves room for a later platform decision, but it is not a reason to promise one now.
