Persona 6 is officially in development at ATLUS's P-Studio for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Steam, and Xbox cloud. It is also announced for Game Pass. There is no release date, named protagonist, price, edition list, PC specification, or Switch 2 version at the August 28 check.
That is the useful current shape of the game: the project is real and its initial platform family is public, but most details circulating around its cast, color theme, calendar, combat, romance, and launch year are not part of the official record.

SEGA says the game carries forward the series' distinctive worldbuilding and gameplay while opening an all-new story in a new locale. Xbox adds modern-day Japan, everyday school life, friendships, romance, bonds, supernatural adventure, urban legends, and a new cast. Those are official product descriptions; the teaser still does not demonstrate combat, dungeons, a calendar interface, or a playable character.
Why the current search results require restraint
Google's current US suggestions include protagonist leaks, release-date leaks, gameplay leaks, a possible Switch 2 version, and speculative themes. A repeated search does not turn any of those ideas into evidence. The official announcement names no protagonist and shows no gameplay sequence.
The same rule applies to timing. SEGA lists Persona 4 Revival for February 18, 2027 and an ATLUS statement describes Persona 6 as releasing after it, but Persona 6 itself has no published window. “After February 18” is an order boundary, not a release window or a promise that the game ships in 2027.
What the site will add later
The permanent /persona-6 URL is established now so future official information can be added without replacing the page address. New pages will be justified by an actual announcement: a date, price, edition, system-requirement table, character reveal, gameplay breakdown, demo, or released build.
Walkthroughs, romance routes, endings, best Personas, and build advice remain blocked. Those topics need a public, reproducible build and a clearly stated version; they cannot be derived from franchise habits or leaks.
