Do not turn “both platforms have online play” into a cross-play promise. If a group is buying specifically to play together, use the same platform unless Team Ninja publishes a current cross-platform statement.

The January demo also supported solo play and online multiplayer for up to three. That verifies the intended group size, but retail matchmaking, mission access, and network behavior should be judged in the updated full game rather than copied from a demo build.

Before organizing a group

Confirm that all players have updated to the same game version and can access the required network service on their platform. Choose a host before entering the relevant online flow, and describe connection problems with the platform, version, group size, and exact point of failure.
