An account-safety answer for bringing existing NTE progress to Steam or Epic without selecting the wrong provider or regional server.
To continue an existing NTE character on Steam or Epic, sign in with the same game-account provider and select the same regional server used before. The Steam and Epic editions support email, Facebook, and Google login. Existing progress then synchronizes automatically.
The safe login sequence
- Identify how the existing account is opened now: email, Google, or Facebook.
- Note the existing server: Asia, America, Europe, or SEA.
- Launch NTE from Steam or Epic.
- Choose that same login provider and account.
- Select the same server before entering the game.
- Confirm that the expected character appears before making a purchase.
The official FAQ does not describe a manual save-file transfer because progress lives with the game account and server. Copying local files is not the cross-save method.
Why the same email address can still look wrong
NTE treats accounts registered through different third-party providers as separate. A Google login and an email login do not automatically become one profile merely because they point to the same real-world email address. The same applies to Facebook.
Server choice is a second boundary. The game has four independent regions. An America-server character does not appear on Europe, Asia, or SEA. If a fresh character screen appears, stop and verify both provider and server before assuming the original account was deleted.
Steam and Epic purchase behavior
Steam purchases are charged to the Steam account that launched the game; Epic purchases are charged to the corresponding Epic account. The official account FAQ says game progress can synchronize through the existing game login, but the storefront still handles payment.
If the correct provider and server do not restore the character, open Settings > Support Center in game and attach the log files, or email [email protected] with the UID, symptoms, and screenshots. The official record supports those escalation routes; it does not support using an account seller, unofficial unbind tool, or local save editor.
