Existing PC or mobile players should link a PWG Email before opening NTE on PS5, then choose PWG Email on the PlayStation login screen. After a successful login, the PSN account links to that existing game account and the same progress becomes available on PS5.
Existing player: PC or mobile to PS5
- Open NTE on the device that already shows the correct character.
- Go to Settings > User Center.
- Link a PWG Email to that game account.
- Start NTE on PS5.
- Choose PWG Email, not the new-player PSN path.
- Sign in with the linked email and confirm the character and server.
Google, Facebook, and other third-party logins are not direct PS5 login options. Link PWG Email on PC or mobile first, then use that email on PlayStation.
New PS5 player versus existing player
A genuinely new player can choose PSN. NTE creates a new game account and links it to that PSN identity. That account initially can be accessed only through the linked PSN account.
If the character was created this way on PS5 and later needs to move to PC or mobile, open Settings > User Center on PlayStation and link PWG Email. The linked email can then open the same game account on the other supported platforms.
What can and cannot be unlinked
The official limits are asymmetric:
- A linked PWG Email cannot be changed or unlinked.
- A PSN account can be unlinked only once.
- PWG Email must be linked before PSN can be unlinked.
- After PSN is removed, that PSN login no longer opens the game account, but the linked PWG Email still does.
These limits make the first email choice important. Do not treat a binding screen as a temporary login prompt.
Purchases, trophies, and friends
Purchased items appear across platforms when the accounts are correctly linked. Matching trophies for existing progress unlock after the linked account first opens on PlayStation.
PS5 shows two lists: in-game friends, which are visible across NTE platforms, and PlayStation Network friends, which show PSN friends playing on the same server. The store lists up to four online players, but the account FAQ does not define every multiplayer activity or its unlock condition.
