Neverness to Everness requires Android 10 or iOS 15 and at least 20 GB of free mobile storage. The official Android floor is Snapdragon 855, Dimensity 8000, or equivalent; the iOS floor is iPhone 12 Pro Max.

“Equivalent” is the publisher's wording, not a complete phone whitelist. A model with a different chip name cannot be approved from marketing tier alone. The official storefront compatibility check remains the decisive signal for that device.
Why 20 GB shown as free may still fail an update
iOS can reserve cache and temporary unpacking space that is not reflected cleanly in the number a player sees. The official support sequence is:
- Restart the device to clear cache and refresh available storage.
- Download any app and wait about five minutes to make iOS recalculate storage.
- Redownload the NTE files after the available-space figure refreshes.
Keep NTE in the foreground while the mobile client downloads and updates. The launch FAQ links backgrounding the app during that process with a client that can crash immediately afterward; reinstalling and completing the download in the foreground is the official recovery.
Cross-save does not remove the hardware requirement
Mobile progress can synchronize with PC, Mac, and PS5 when the same account and server are used. Cross-save does not stream the game from another device or bypass local compatibility. The phone still downloads and runs its own client.
