Minecraft Dungeons II—also called Minecraft Dungeons 2—releases September 29, 2026. Mojang lists Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2; Xbox also lists Windows 10/11. You do not need to play the first Minecraft Dungeons before starting the sequel.
The original Switch is included: Mojang names Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 separately. Its platform list names the current Xbox and PlayStation systems above; it does not add PS4 or Xbox One, so this page does not treat either older console as confirmed.
