The LEGO Batman Switch 2 release date is September 18, 2026 worldwide. The Standard Edition costs $69.99 in the United States; Deluxe costs $89.99. This is a later platform launch—the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC versions have been available since May 22.
Switch 2 preorder bonuses

The physical Switch 2 Deluxe Edition has one extra: a Retro Video Game Batman minifigure at no additional charge while supplies last. “While supplies last” matters. It is a physical-stock bonus, not a permanent digital entitlement, so check the retailer listing before paying on or near launch day.

What arrives on September 18 besides Switch 2
The Mayhem Collection releases the same day for Deluxe owners on supported platforms. It adds Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, Mayhem Mode, a new story mission about their Arkham escape, and the Sinister Pack. The Sinister Pack contains seven suits, five Batcave items, and one Batmobile.
This timing does not mean Switch 2 owners must buy Deluxe to play the main campaign. Standard contains the complete base story. Deluxe is the choice for themed outfits, vehicles, Batcave items, and the added Mayhem material.
Online and account requirements
The game supports two-player local co-op and does not include online co-op. WB Games says Nintendo Switch Online is not required to play. An internet connection is not required after download or installation, except when downloading updates. A WB Games Account is optional and unlocks the Golden Age Batsuit when connected.
