Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade owners could begin on May 15, four days before the standard release. That was early access for the Xbox and PC launch, not the PS5 release date.
The PS5 version is included in Playground's crossplay and cross-save plan. That means existing progress is intended to follow when the version becomes available. It does not mean an Xbox or Steam purchase automatically grants the PlayStation game or paid DLC.
Game Pass availability is also a subscription entitlement, not permanent ownership. The base game can be used while the account has the right tier and the title remains in the catalog. Premium Upgrade requires access to the base game through purchase or an applicable subscription.
If you plan to start on PC and move later, read cross-save and Play Anywhere before choosing a storefront.
