Choose Standard if you only need the base game. Deluxe adds the 30-car Car Pass and Welcome Pack. Premium adds VIP, Time Attack and Italian Passion car packs, and two future expansions on top of the Deluxe content. The Premium Upgrade supplies the add-ons without a second base-game license.

The Car Pass delivers 30 cars, with cars released over time and already released entries becoming available after purchase. Each included vehicle receives a one-time free addition to the in-game garage. That is different from unlimited duplicate copies.
Who should buy what?
- Buy Standard if the launch car roster and normal progression are enough.
- Buy Deluxe if the 30-car pass and Welcome Pack are the specific extras you want.
- Buy Premium if you want both future expansions plus VIP and the named car packs.
- Use Premium Upgrade if you already own Standard or access the base game through an eligible Game Pass tier.
- Wait if the unreleased expansion locations are the deciding factor; “two expansions” is confirmed, but their complete scope should be judged when Playground publishes it.
Game Pass includes base-game access, not permanent ownership of every premium add-on. If the base game later leaves the catalog, an upgrade alone does not become a standalone playable copy.
Cross-save also does not grant DLC on a second storefront. Xbox Play Anywhere shares eligible Microsoft digital entitlements between Xbox and Windows PC. Steam and the future PlayStation version use separate store ownership. Read cross-save and Play Anywhere before buying the same tier twice.
