FFXIV Moogle Treasure Trove 2026 — Uolon Horn and Token Guide

FFXIV's Moogle Treasure Trove: The Hunt for Astronomy First Hunt runs from September 9 at 1:00 a.m. PDT through October 19, 2026 at 7:59 a.m. PDT. The Uolon Horn costs 100 Irregular Tomestones of Astronomy I plus 10 Uolon tokens. Tokens carry into the Second Hunt, so the mount does not require all 10 tokens during this first window.

Start the hunt correctly

1. Speak to an itinerant moogle to obtain the Mogpendium if the character does not already have it.
2. Open the Mogpendium and check the Standard Objectives list for repeatable marked duties.
3. Open the Weekly Objectives tab and confirm the one duty assigned to your character that week.
4. Check Minimog Challenges for the two available objectives; completing either one awards its weekly reward.
5. Check the Ultimog Challenge and its event-wide completion condition.
6. Claim completed Weekly, Minimog, and Ultimog rewards inside the Mogpendium before their deadlines.

Standard Objectives award tomestones automatically when the marked duty finishes. Weekly, Minimog, and Ultimog rewards require a manual claim in the Mogpendium.

The event page says the Uolon Horn and Uolon tokens will also be available in the Second Hunt. If the first hunt ends with fewer than 10 tokens, preserve them instead of treating the run as failed.

Ways to earn event currency

There is no universal “fastest duty” promised here. Queue time, job, party composition, and weekly assignments change the practical result. Use the live Mogpendium amounts and choose content you can complete consistently.

Runs that do not qualify

• Duty Support does not award the event tomestones.
• Adventurer squadrons do not award them.
• Unrestricted Party runs require Level Sync to be enabled.
• Ocean Fishing below the published 2,000-point threshold does not award its event tomestones.

Check the moogle icon before queueing. A duty being available in the Duty Finder does not automatically mean it belongs to the current hunt.

Claim and exchange deadlines

Weekly Objectives reset on Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. PDT, while Minimog Challenges reset at the same weekly reset. The Ultimog Challenge can be completed once during the event.

Unclaimed Mogpendium rewards remain claimable only until the release of Patch 8.05. Irregular Tomestones of Astronomy I can be exchanged until the release of Patch 8.1. Those post-event grace periods do not extend the time available to complete the objectives themselves.
