Endacopia has 18 fish for the fishing achievement: three unique catches in each of six Timesville time periods. Get Catthew's fishing license, show it to the diver at the pier, catch the three fish for every period, then inspect the completed Fish Paper to obtain the old key.
Unlock the fishing license
Talk to Catthew, the red cat, and complete hide-and-seek. The documented hiding sequence is:
- To the right of the unusual locked cabin.
- To the left of the village prison.
- Behind a cemetery tombstone.
The cemetery encounter is not the real Catthew. Escape toward the upper village, then speak with Catthew to receive the Fisherman License. Take the license to the diver on the beach pier to unlock fishing.
All 18 Endacopia fish by time
Entering a building or area advances Timesville through three daytime and three nighttime periods. Catch all three listed fish before leaving a period behind.

The minigame can also produce a mystery ? object. Treat it as a separate catch; it does not fill an empty fish slot on the paper.
How to finish a stubborn time slot
Stay in the same period until all three names for that row are recorded. The catch is random within the current time pool, so duplicates are normal. Leaving for a different period does not improve the missing slot; it changes the available pool.
Use the Fish Paper as the authoritative checklist. If the Metal Detector says something remains buried, Patch 1.08 fixed a case where it failed to beep for the final item, so update before searching from an old launch-state guide.
Get and use the old key
The key is not handed over at the pier.
- Obtain the Metal Detector in Timesville.
- Use it on the beach to dig up the Fish Paper.
- Catch all 18 fish and leave the fishing minigame.
- Inspect the completed Fish Paper; the old key drops from it.
- Complete the dollhouse route and return to its monochrome room.
- Press Alt+Enter to leave fullscreen. The black opening becomes a keyhole.
- Use the old key there to begin the hidden Timesville sequence tied to Ending C.
If the paper is complete but no key is visible, inspect the paper itself rather than the aquarium or pier NPC. If the keyhole is missing, confirm the room is in the correct post-dollhouse state and toggle windowed mode after entering it.
Save warning for Ending C
The old key is part of a larger secret route. Finish the Timesville hidden sequence before closing off the area's boss progression, and keep a Chapter I backup. The Ending C guide lists the other two area secrets without mixing them into the fish table.
