WHAT CHANGED

Marked is live now; see its launch changes separately from the later dated hotfixes.

Apex Legends Season 30, Marked, launched on August 4, 2026. The update reworked Bloodhound, refreshed World's Edge, changed the weapon rotation, adjusted Season 29 Legend Axle, and included another round of server-stability work.

The changes that define Marked

  • Axle: she joined Apex in Season 29 Overclocked. Marked reduced her base slide boost from five seconds to three and changed how her ultimate affects Axle and allies.
  • Bloodhound: the patch rebuilt parts of their tracking and ultimate flow rather than applying a small number change.
  • World's Edge: the map rework returned Sorting Factory and Construction Stacks while changing the surrounding combat space.
  • Weapons: the G7 Scout returned to floor loot and the 30-30 Repeater entered the Care Package.
  • Infrastructure: EA says Season 30 includes server-stability improvements, but that statement is not a promise that every connection or crash issue is fixed.

Patch notes versus later fixes

The launch notes describe the intended Season 30 state. They do not include every issue discovered after release. Respawn posted separate notices for an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT crash and an August 26 hotfix. Use the dated support pages when diagnosing those symptoms instead of assuming the original notes contain the final answer.

This is also why an older Axle preview can be misleading. Her current slide-boost duration and upgrade path are covered on the live Axle page, not copied from Season 29 reveal material.
