If Apex Legends crashes on an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT after a driver update, Respawn's August 25 workaround is to roll back to driver 26.7.1. This is a named current issue, so use the official workaround before mixing in broad crash advice meant for unrelated hardware.

Safe order of operations

1. Confirm the GPU is actually an RX 9070 XT and record the installed AMD driver version.
2. Use AMD's official support site to obtain the recommended older package; avoid third-party driver archives.
