AT A GLANCE

Nova City and Chongxiao are ANANTA's two named cities; official material confirms layered interiors and varied transport but not map size, borders, or full district lists.

ANANTA currently names two cities: Nova City and Chongxiao. Steam presents them as “Two Cities, Two Adventures,” with Chongxiao described as the player's old home. PlayStation says the new city draws inspiration from Shanghai and Hangzhou.

Nova City

Nova City is the setting used throughout the earlier Agent material and current influencer framing. Official descriptions name business districts, hidden alleyways, nightlife, galleries, libraries, parks, urban events, street racing, and accessible interiors. The city is meant to mix ordinary activity with supernatural or absurd incidents.

Those examples do not establish a complete district list, a GTA-scale comparison, every-enterable-building claim, or a seamless world without loading. No official map image currently defines the final border.

Chongxiao

Steam describes Chongxiao as the player's familiar old home reached by plane. PlayStation's Gamescom update adds the Shanghai-and-Hangzhou inspiration, hidden martial-arts masters, companions, kung fu systems, flying cars, and hang gliders.

The sources do not publish whether the flight is a loading transition, whether both cities are available immediately, how progression moves between them, or whether each platform uses the same crowd and traffic density.

What “go anywhere you can see” means

Steam uses expansive exploration language, and NetEase describes a free-movement 3C system plus swinging. That establishes vertical traversal as a design goal. It is not proof that every roof, room, distant skyline, or vehicle is accessible in the retail build.

Map completion, collectibles, fast-travel nodes, district unlocks, and route guides must wait for an official map or a reproducible public version.
