Boltgun 2 expands the first game's single-player formula with a branching campaign. Malum Caedo and Nyra Veyrath follow different paths with their own levels, weapons, abilities, and play styles rather than sharing one identical sequence.

The navigation guide is notable because maze-like retro-shooter spaces can create route friction. Its presence does not reveal the final map interface, secret tracking, objective markers, or whether every level can be revisited.

Likewise, named enemies and environments are not a complete bestiary or mission list. Trailer clips can demonstrate speed, gore, projectiles, melee finishers, and arena scale, but they cannot prove health values, difficulty balance, secret locations, boss phases, or optimal weapons in the October build.

The correct pre-release coverage is therefore a system and content boundary. A walkthrough becomes legitimate only when objectives, branches, checkpoints, secrets, failures, and completion states can be reproduced on a named retail version.
