The expansion's supported local group-play formats.
Legacy of the Bloodmoon works with Vampire Survivors local co-op. PlayStation lists one to four offline players. Steam lists Remote Play Together, which can stream a local session to invited players.
Mode distinction
| Mode | Verified status |
|---|---|
| Solo | Supported |
| Local co-op | Supported |
| Offline player count on PlayStation | 1–4 |
| Steam Remote Play Together | Supported |
| Native online lobby | Not listed |
| Cross-platform online play | Not established |
Remote Play Together is not the same as a server-based online co-op mode. One host runs the local game and streams the session. Input quality therefore depends on the host connection and Steam Remote Play setup.
For a couch session, connect the additional controllers before opening character selection and treat the base game's local-co-op behavior as the operating model for the expansion. For a remote session, only the host needs to run the game, but every participant still depends on the host's stream and controller assignment. The storefronts do not establish cross-save, public matchmaking, or a separate Bloodmoon multiplayer queue, so those features should not be inferred from the four-player label.
