AT A GLANCE

SEGA names key returning characters and Japanese performers and confirms English audio, but the complete current English voice cast is not published on the checked official pages.

Persona 4 Revival characters officially profiled include the protagonist, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, Yukiko Amagi, and Rise Kujikawa. SEGA names their Japanese performers and confirms English audio, but the checked first-party pages do not yet publish a complete current English voice cast.

These names come from the current official Revival site rather than a cast list copied from Persona 4 Golden. The August 27 producer interview also discusses the rebuilt visual presentation of Teddie, Kanji, and Naoto, confirming their place in the remake's character work even though this page does not attach an unverified voice credit to them.

English voice support versus English cast

Language support and actor identity are different facts. SEGA's regional site confirms Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese audio, and Steam lists English and Japanese full audio. That proves an English dub exists. It does not prove that every actor from the original game, Golden, animation, or spin-offs reprises the same role.

Until SEGA publishes names, an older cast database should be labeled historical context rather than a Revival credit source. Search snippets and fan wikis can also merge roles from multiple adaptations, which is exactly how a cast page becomes confidently wrong.

What has changed in character presentation

Producer Kazuhisa Wada says the remake targets richer character expression. Environments, event scenes, lighting, and materials are rebuilt, and the main story is rerecorded. Social Links and newly added events also receive voice work. These disclosures support a more extensively presented cast without establishing that every optional conversation is voiced.

Wada specifically used Yosuke, Teddie, Kanji, and Naoto when discussing how modern visuals can express personality and nuance. That is a production insight, not a reveal of changed motives, romances, or endings.

How this page will handle future cast announcements

Each performer will be added only when a first-party character page, trailer credit, store listing, or publisher announcement names the role. Japanese and English casts will remain in separate columns, and actor replacements will be stated directly rather than hidden behind a generic “returning cast” claim.
