A dated platform answer that separates the April global launch from the July Steam and Epic release and from unannounced Xbox or Nintendo editions.
Neverness to Everness launched globally on April 29, 2026. The Steam edition released July 7, 2026. The base game is free to play. The current official platforms are Windows PC, Apple Mac, iOS, Android, PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro, plus the Steam, Epic Games Store, and Samsung Galaxy Store releases added in July.
Platform matrix
| Platform or store | Current status |
|---|---|
| Windows launcher | Released April 29 |
| PlayStation 5 / PS5 Pro | Released April 29; PS5 Pro Enhanced |
| iOS / App Store | Released April 29 |
| Android / Google Play | Released April 29 |
| Apple Mac | Released April 29 through the App Store |
| Steam | Released July 7 |
| Epic Games Store | Released in the July storefront wave |
| Samsung Galaxy Store | Released in the July storefront wave |
| Xbox Series X|S | No official edition announced |
| Nintendo Switch / Switch 2 | No official edition announced |
The PlayStation US listing marks online play as required and the base product as free. Steam lists the Windows build as free to play with in-app purchases. “Free” describes access to the base client; it does not mean every character, board roll, outfit, vehicle livery, or currency pack costs nothing.
Why there are two release dates
April 29 is the global game launch. July 7 is the Steam store release date shown on the current Steam product. The July 8 official FAQ covers the Steam, Epic, and Galaxy Store rollout and says those editions stay synchronized with the existing PC, mobile, and other versions.
This distinction matters when comparing old articles. A page written before July may correctly say Steam was unavailable at that moment but is stale now. The July release did not reset the game to Version 1.0 or create a separate content branch.
Xbox and Switch are status questions, not predictions
The checked official launch page, platform FAQ, Steam product, PlayStation listing, and Version 1.3 update do not announce an Xbox or Nintendo edition. That is the complete current answer. It does not prove that a port can never be made, and a Google suggestion is not a platform announcement.
