Physical and retailer codes register an Activision account first; digital platform preorders are automatically registered and need no beta code.
Redeem a Modern Warfare 4 early-access registration code at callofduty.com/betaredeem. Sign into the intended Activision account and choose the same region and platform as the account that will play.
Digital preorders through a platform store or the Call of Duty in-game store do not need this code. Automatic early-access registration is part of the eligible digital purchase. Physical preorders and some retailer promotions supply a 10- or 13-character registration code on a receipt, insert, or email.
Registration code and platform token are different
- Enter the retailer or promotion code on the Call of Duty beta redemption page.
- Choose the platform and matching account region.
- Confirm that the page says the account has already redeemed a code and shows the selected platform.
- Retrieve the separate Early Access Beta token from the Activision account email or the same redemption page.
- Redeem that token through the selected platform store.
On Xbox, open the Store side menu and select Redeem. On PS5, go to Settings → Users and Accounts → Payment and Subscriptions → Redeem Codes. A token generated for one platform cannot be moved to another platform by entering it in the wrong store.
