Deluxe adds two future DLCs and four exclusive cosmetic items; preorder adds the Twisted set, while the Hero Cape uses a separate account activity.
Minecraft Dungeons II Standard costs $29.99; Deluxe costs $49.99 in the US. Buy Deluxe for DLC 1 and 2 when they release, plus the Soul cape, Blub pet, and four hero skins. The core game and September 29 access are the same.

The preorder set is separate from Deluxe: two additional hero skins, the Twisted cape, and Twisted chicken pet. Mojang's offer runs through September 28 at 12 PM PDT at participating retailers, with regional and retailer differences possible.
The Hero Cape follows a third, separate rule. It is not in the Standard-versus-Deluxe table and is not the preorder Twisted Cape. Play Minecraft Dungeons I, then log into Minecraft Dungeons II with the same Microsoft account before December 31, 2026. After the Hero Cape appears in Dungeons II, use that account in Minecraft: Java Edition or Bedrock Edition to unlock it there. Mojang notes that internet access is required for playtime-based checks and confirmation may be delayed.
No official page itemizes the future DLC campaigns yet. Deluxe secures access, but it is not evidence of mission length, release dates, or quality.
