An exact setup reference for the rules that must be chosen before a new save is created, including the cost of enabling Endless Mode.
Version 1.0.30 lets you change five rule groups before creating a Gamble With Your Friends save: casino timer, timer length, difficulty and quota scaling, starting money, and starting Tickets. Endless Mode is in the same menu. Once the save exists, those rules are locked for that slot.
Set up a new save
- Select an Empty Slot.
- Open the cogwheel beside the Empty Slot label.
- Choose the rules for that slot.
- Decide whether the run should have an ending or use Endless Mode.
- Create the save only after checking every value.
The game has three save slots, and each can use a different configuration. That is the safe way to preserve a normal first run while experimenting with a longer timer or a different starting economy in another slot.
What each rule changes
| Rule | Officially described effect |
|---|---|
| Casino Timer | Enable or disable the timed casino structure |
| Timer Length | Change the duration of the casino timer |
| Difficulty | Adjust quota scaling |
| Starting Money | Set the new save's opening cash |
| Starting Tickets | Set the new save's opening Tickets |
| Endless Mode | Continue gambling without reaching the normal ending |
The update does not publish the full selectable range for each value in its text notes. Do not assume a number seen in somebody else's save is available in every version or configuration.
Endless Mode has a real tradeoff
Endless Mode is not simply “continue after the ending.” The developer says enabling it prevents the ending from being seen and prevents achievements associated with the different endings from unlocking. The official recommendation is to beat the game first before using it.
The Steam product states that a standard playthrough lasts about two to three hours and has three endings. This page does not explain those endings, the coin flip, Double or Nothing, cutscenes, or a route to each achievement. Those questions require direct, versioned play evidence and spoiler-aware writing; the update notes only establish how Endless Mode changes access.

Questions players ask next
How do you enable Endless Mode in Gamble With Your Friends?
Before creating a save, select an Empty Slot, open its cogwheel options, and enable Endless Mode in the per-save rules.
Can you change save rules after starting?
No. Version 1.0.30 says those settings cannot be changed once that save file has been created.
Can you see endings in Endless Mode?
No. Endless Mode prevents the game's ending and blocks achievements tied to the different endings.
