AT A GLANCE

A mode-and-connection reference for the released Steam game, including what it supports and what the current official material does not.

Gamble With Your Friends supports one to six players in online co-op. The host invites up to five people through Steam, and multiplayer is Friends Only. Solo play is supported, but local shared-screen play and cross-platform console play are not listed.

Version 1.0.11 corrected the default lobby setting to Friends Only. Earlier version 1.0.7 also stopped random Discord users from joining and described sessions as invite-only. Those are privacy fixes, not evidence of public matchmaking.

If multiplayer is not working

Start with the boundaries the developer actually documents:

  1. Make sure every player is using the current Steam build.
  2. Have the host create the lobby and invite up to five people from Steam Friends.
  3. Treat Friends Only as expected behavior rather than a missing public-server option.
  4. Restart Steam and the game before testing the invitation again.
  5. If the problem repeats, record whether the failure occurs while creating the lobby, sending the invite, joining, or after entering the casino.

Version 1.0.30 includes network-code improvements and unspecified network bug fixes, but it does not publish a universal port-forwarding sequence or promise that every connection error is solved. A reproducible current-build report belongs in the developer's Steam bug forum with the host/client role and exact failure point.

Crossplay is not the same as online co-op. Steam friends can play together on the released Windows product; the checked records do not announce PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or Mac clients that could form a cross-platform pair.

QUICK ANSWERS

Questions players ask next

How many players does Gamble With Your Friends support?

One to six online players. A host can invite up to five Steam friends.

Can you play Gamble With Your Friends solo?

Yes. The developer says solo play is possible, although the game is designed around shared decisions and does not recommend solo for the intended experience.

Does Gamble With Your Friends have local multiplayer or crossplay?

Local or shared-screen multiplayer is not listed. Because the current release is Windows through Steam only, no PS5, Xbox, Switch, or Mac platform pair exists for crossplay in the checked records.
