Nintendo lists a September 17 launch, $69.99 Standard Edition, estimated 29.5 GB file, one player, Save Data Cloud, HDR, and Switch 2 exclusivity.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave releases September 17, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2. The US Standard Edition is $69.99, and Nintendo currently estimates a 29.5 GB game file. It is a one-player game with Save Data Cloud and HDR output on compatible TVs.
Nintendo does not list an original Nintendo Switch version, upgrade pack, PC edition, or PlayStation/Xbox edition. Save Data Cloud requires Nintendo Switch Online and does not make the game playable on a different hardware generation. The 29.5 GB figure is an estimate; Nintendo warns that preorder download sizes may change.
The $119.99 Dagdan Collection is a separate physical collector package. Its higher price reflects included physical items rather than a second campaign or exclusive tactical mode. Digital and physical availability can vary by retailer stock, but the official launch date is shared.
If you own only an original Switch, do not preorder based on the series name alone. The current store badge and official announcement both require Switch 2.
